1. Venue
2019 FENGYUN Satellite User Conference will be held in Hainan, China from 15 to 17 November 2019, at the International Academic Exchange Center of Hainan University.

2. Accommodation
Block reservations have been made at the hotel rooms at International Academic Exchange Center of Hainan University, where the conference will be held. Please confirm with the LOC.

3. Airport Transfer
LOC will provide complimentary transportation service between airport and the hotel. All the participants for the conference will be met at the Haikou Meilan International Airport (HAK) terminal on 14th November by LOC staff with a China Meteorological Administration sign. Please confirm itinerary with the LOC in advance.
In case of failure to be met at the airport, please contact the LOC immediately, you will be instructed to take further actions. You may take a taxi to the hotel. Please always request the driver to use taxi meter and get your receipt back for reimbursement or in case you lose your belongings.
4. Registration
Participants will receive badges and updated information upon arrival. Please wear badge when attending all formal activities. Service desk will be set up outside of the meeting room.
5. Working Language
The working language will be in English. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Chinese will be provided for the Opening Ceremony.
6. Financial Support
CMA will provide financial support to certain participants including international travel (economy class), local accommodation. Participants are requested to submit original boarding passes when they arrive in Haikou.
Laundry, international telephone calls, medical fees and insurance, other costs in China and those expenses within the participants' countries, such as visa fee, transportation cost between the nearest airport and home, should be borne by the participants or their organizations.
The participants should take responsibility of their travel and health insurance which covers their travel and visit period.
7. Currency Exchange, Credit Cards and Money
Local currency is the Chinese Yuan (RMB), with the approximate value
1 USD = 7.03RMB (Rates on 5 November, 2019). The exchange rate is subject to daily variations. Notes come in 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, and 1 yuan denominations. Coins come in 10c, 50c denominations.
Major currencies can be exchanged at the banks nearby. The most common credit cards (e.g. Visa, MasterCard,) are accepted at major hotels and stores.
8. Climate and Weather

9. Health Requirements / Medical Services

Medical services are of a high standard and most international prescription drugs are readily available through retail pharmacies. It is suggested that you bring personal medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
10. Time Zone
The China Standard Time (Beijing Standard Time) is eight (8) hours ahead of UTC/GMT, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) + 8 hr (=MET).
11. Internet Facilities and Electricity
Provision has been made in the meeting room for wireless Internet connection. The standard voltage in China is 220 volts, 50Hz. The below plugs are usually used. If your appliances plug has a different shape, you may need a plug adapter.
